I work with other local nannies on a regular basis. If your amount of children to be looked after exceeds the safe ratios, I am happy to find another Nanny to work alongside me (at extra hourly charge).
Do you have any references?
References are available on request. You can see some comments left by previous families.
When should I book?
The winter season gets booked up very quickly. I advise you to book as early as possible, to avoid disappointment. Your booking is valid as soon as the deposit is received.
How do I pay you?
A deposit of £100 has to be paid on booking.
Remaining payments can be made by bank transfer in advance, or cash in euros when you are in the resort.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
If I can find another client for your booked period, I will keep the deposit and fully refund the remainder. Should I not be able to fill in for your booking I will keep 50% of the total price.
What happens on the first morning we have booked with you?
I will come to your holiday home at the agreed time. I will have a little chat to you about the needs and routines of your child. It is important you inform me of any illness or condition your child may have. Once I am familiar with everything, I will talk you through what I have planned for the day. We will exchange phone numbers and arrange times we might meet for lunch if you wish. Once the adults have gone through everything, I will give all my attention to your little one so you can set off into your day of pleasure. This should be early enough for you to get to ski school in time, or for you to make it for first lifts.
How might you spend the day with my child?
Depending on age of your child I will work out several activities for our day together.
A typical day with me could be like this:
We will spent a little while getting to know each other, playing games or simply being shown all the toys…(it is always so exciting to meet new friends). Soon the little ones adjust to mum and dad being away, and when I feel them being comfortable with me we can set out on a little adventure. Wrapping up in suitable clothes for the cold weather can be an adventure in itself. It is important though as we are going to be sliding along on bum boards, building snowmen, simply enjoying the fun white world of snow. With all this excitement lunch time will come along quickly. The afternoon depends on how energetic your child is: more playing outside or enjoying quiet times with toys and music which I will bring along. By the time you get back from your day on the slopes you shall find your little one happy and relaxed telling you all about his or her adventurous day.
To keep it exciting we will plan special events, such as going up in the bubble lift or a kids hot chocolate on one of the famously sunny terraces.
